Nikki Neely Davis

Senior Executive & Principal Gifts Coach
Oxford, MS

With two decades of experience in higher education advancement, Nikki brings a proven track record of building transformational fundraising programs and securing principal gifts that advance bold institutional missions. Most recently serving as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development at the University of Mississippi, she helped lead the university to raise the most private support in its history – exceeding its $1.5 billion campaign goal ahead of schedule.

Nikki’s greatest strength lies in her ability to design and execute comprehensive development strategies that align fundraising with institutional priorities. Her leadership across principal gifts, major gifts, foundation relations, and corporate engagement – paired with collaborative partnerships spanning academic leadership, medical centers, alumni associations, and athletics – creates sustainable momentum that transforms organizational capacity.

Before her work at Ole Miss, Nikki advanced through progressive leadership roles at Emory University and began her career in public relations and media relations, including work with the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz.

Nikki and her husband, Stuart, live in Oxford with their daughter Lucy and two dogs, Butter and Jimmy. When not cheering Lucy on in her activities, the family enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring Oxford’s vibrant arts scene.
